Take a walk through a frozen wonderland
Join us on one of our Niseko snowshoe tours through the serene beauty of Niseko and the surrounding area. Explore Hirafu’s rice paddies with beautiful views of Mt Yotei and Annupuri, or take a tour around the serene and frozen Hangetsu (Half Moon) Lake at the base of Mount Yotei. It is the perfect way to make the most of a day off the mountain.
On our snowshoe tour, enjoy some fantastic family photo opportunities with your own professional photographer – or, if you’re a budding photographer, receive some helpful photography tuition. A snowshoe tour is an excellent way to see some more of Niseko and the surrounding area while also getting some exercise!
All of our guides are also professional photographers who will be happy to give you some hints and tips to improve your photography in the tough winter conditions. We also have a selection of professional equipment like tripods and filters if needed.
Time
3-hour tours usually commence by 8.30am for a morning session, or 12.30pm for an afternoon session.
Photography
Your guide is a professional photographer and will take magazine quality photos of you throughout the tour. You'll receive these high-resolution images via a link to our online archive within one week of your tour.
Transport
We'll pick you up from your accommodation and drop you home at the end of the day. Please let us know in advance if you have infants and we can arrange a car seat for them.
What to Bring
Please dress in warm, waterproof clothing and footwear. Boots or gumboots are best so that you can easily walk in the snow. It's a good idea to bring water as well.
Who does this tour suit?
ALL AGES
This tour is perfect for groups of any size and age. Adults will enjoy the stunning scenery, and kids will love frolicking in the snow, throwing snowballs and letting off some steam. If requested, we can even bring toboggans and snowball makers. Please let us know if you have very young children as we will need to arrange appropriate car seats to ensure their safety. This tour is also a photographer’s dream, with many stunning landscapes to capture, and maybe even some wildlife along the way.
