About the family photography session

This is a professional family photography shoot for you and your loved ones. It is your day, and we are at your disposal. We will be there to capture everything throughout the day – from the children’s first turns on skis to the family snowball fight in the woods. Or if you would like something more personal, we are more than happy to accommodate your ideas and share with you ours. We have toboggans and snowball makers for the kids that we can bring on request and we can take you to some of the best scenic locations to get stunning family photos you will cherish for ever.

All images from the day will be professionally retouched and delivered via an online gallery that you can share with family and friends worldwide. This is a unique service we offer and is included in the cost of the tour. Our amazing photographers have extensive experience working with families and delivering beautiful images that will perfectly capture the adventure on the day and the dynamic of your group.

We went to find the best japan powder, and niseko photography gave us the best of it. I just can say many thanks to Darren and Elsie for an incredible week in Niseko. The back country and the resort days were the perfect mix for a perfect week. Counting days for coming back next year.

Absolutely 5 stars - had an amazing few days with Niseko Photography and Guiding. They know the area like the back of their hand from Niseko to Rusutsu and they set us up with the fresh tracks for both days. We came away with some amazing photos to remember the trip by. When we go back next time we will definitely be re-booking.

Zach took us through niseko area in the 4-hour private tour and he has definitely made our day! We also had a short snowshoeing near half moon lake and that is where a lot of nice pictures are taken. Photos were sent to me few days after the tour and quality are AMAZING!

I took a 6 hour snowboard tour with Charlotte on the Niseko United. We covered three of the four resorts in 4 hours and got many amazing photos. Charlotte is very professional and won't mind taking more photos of your choices. She also very flexible, and helped taking photos of my and my fiancee and friends afterward. Impressive photos come in an email about a week later.

You're pretty much in charge of your day - so if you'd rather climb more and ski less (or vice versa) or ski more and take less photos (and vice versa) completely up to you! I definitely recommend Niseko Photography & Guiding - very professional and friendly staff with some good knowledge of the resort and backcountry.

Zac explained how to use our skins and we had a group lesson on using the beacons. We then set off and quickly realised what "earn your turns" really means. We all got the hang of it pretty quickly and enjoyed the untracked powder bowls we were rewarded with. The day finished before we really got too tired and we all agreed it was a must do tour! Having great photo's to look at the next day made the whole experiance a 10/10!

Time

3-hour tours usually commence by 8.30am for a morning session, or 12.30pm for an afternoon session. For the 6-hour tour, please specify your preferred start time when you contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Photography

Your guide is a professional photographer and will take magazine-quality photos of you throughout the tour. You'll receive these high-resolution images via a link to our online archive within one week of your tour. If you would also like video we can provide this and a professionally edited short film with music for an additional cost.

Transport

We'll pick you up from your accommodation and drop you home at the end of the day - or you can meet us at our base near Moiwa the 'North House' and be taken from there. Please let us know in advance if you have infants and we can arrange a car seat for them.

What to Bring

If on a winter tour, please dress in warm waterproof clothing and footwear. Boots or gumboots are best so that you can easily walk in the snow. Please also bring water, snacks and money to buy lunch if on a 6-hour tour.
