7 Summits of Summer.

With winter just a few weeks away I thought it was a good time to reflect on what was an absolutely beautiful Hokkaido Summer! Green season is gone – bring on the white out!

I spent a lot of time in the mountians exploring Hokkaido this year. Found some great new trekking routes and made it to the top of 7 peaks in total;

Mt Annupuri, Iwanai, Chisenupurri, Mekkunai, MtYoutei, Asahidake and Mt Fuji (check out Fuji in a separate post here).

Here’s a few pics from the summer. Look us up when you’re in Niseko next green season, we are running trekking tours for anyone keen to get out and explore the mountains of Niseko!

    Disappointed to see you got the same weather on Asahidake that I did when I climbed it back in 09. Would be nice to have someone show me what the view is actually like, instead of “I can see to my hand and then everything else is white.”
