Cat Skiing

Cat Skiing – The Tour of a Lifetime Awaits.

Cat skiing, the best way to ski and board perfect, untracked powder in Niseko’s backcountry with just four others. You will be accompanied by a professional photographer / guide who will be there to capture every moment for you to take home and showoff to your friends.

Backcountry cat skiing accesses some of Niseko’s most exciting terrain and you don’t have to share it with anyone

If you join a cat skiing tour, it’s just you, your personal guide and photographer, and a professional cat driver. The tours are steep and deep, for advanced skiers/boarders and limited to five people per cat. All safety equipment is provided, and every customer is fitted with a beacon, with guides carrying avalanche safety equipment. This tour is not for the faint-hearted; it is true backcountry skiing. No cozy day lodges, no popping in for a hot wine (some good hot coffee, though), no getting your boots fixed between runs…and no lift lines either!

If you’ve visited Niseko before and think you’ve skied it all, this is for you. If you’ve never been to Niseko, you don’t know what you are in for. Powder so deep you might want to bring a snorkel.

A day on the cat will undoubtedly be a highlight of your time in Niseko and is like no other tour in the region.

Cat Skiing is a true back country experience and not to be missed on your visit to Niseko.
