Working With Us

Niseko Photography & Guiding has 10 years experience dedicated to providing guided photography tours to Niseko’s visitors both in winter and summer. We provide on and off mountain tours, taking our customers to the most beautiful locations in the area and finding them the best powder available. We also offer product, event and architectural photography, wedding photography, aerial photography and videography services.

Our office is based in middle Hirafu and contains a bar and shop known as ‘The Basement’. It is focused on keeping our customers and friends well hydrated and entertained in the evening hours and is also a place where we can hold film premieres, exhibitions and sell prints or other cool art-related items.

We have a small team of about 13 staff during the winter season. We have regular staff dinners and get togethers, and we try to get out in the mountains as much as possible. Being a small team we are flexible and caring toward our staff and think of you as part of our extended family. Thus we aim to ensure you have an amazing season that meets both your personal and professional needs.

All of our staff are talented and we encourage skill sharing across our team. There will be lots of opportunity for you to learn from one another and participate in all kinds of training, such as first aid, avalanche safety, photography, videography and even design.

To work for us you must be eligible to obtain a Japanese working visa and an international driving license. A brief overview has been provided below of our current positions, however please email the Director, Elsie Nielsen at elsie@nisekophotography.com to request a full and detailed position description of the position that you are interested in.

If you don’t have all the skills as outlined in the position description, please do not hesitate to still apply. Depending on the level of applications and expertise we may be able to adapt a position to suit.

Applications close for all positions at 5.00pm Monday the 24th July 2017 (Japan time).
