For over 15 years, Niseko Photography & Guiding has been offering guided ski and snowboard tours across the whole of Hokkaido. Our professional guides prioritise safety and our smaller group numbers means no arguments over who’s dropping first. We build bespoke custom tours for clients from across the globe who don’t want to join the cookie cutter tours that miss the mark when it comes to seeing everything Hokkaido has to offer.

 

Niseko Photography & Guiding operates year-round with trips that explore all four stunning seasons across this amazing island. We also provide a range of other specialised services including wedding, engagement, event, aerial, product and marketing photography and video, and an extensive stock media library over flowing with high resolution images and stunning video.

WHAT WE DO

TOURS & SERVICES

At Niseko Photography & Guiding we offer a wide range of on and off mountain tours catering for all needs and abilities. This includes deep powder tours to amazing resorts with access to uncrowded backcountry zones.. Or if you are after something a little more mellow, we can adapt the tour to stay on the groomers and family friendly areas of the resorts. If you want some time off the hill we can take you on a driving or snowshoe tour around spectacular sites in the local Niseko region, or further afield to Lake Toya, Otaru and Sapporo.

 

Every tour is individually customised and hosted by an experienced guide who is also a professional photographer to ensure that you have the time of your life. You will receive a large selection of high-resolution, professionally retouched images within one week of your tour at no extra cost.

  • Zac explained how to use our skins and we had a group lesson on using the beacons. We then set off and quickly realised what "earn your turns" really means. We all got the hang of it pretty quickly and enjoyed the untracked powder bowls we were rewarded with. The day finished before we really got too tired and we all agreed it was a must do tour! Having great photo's to look at the next day made the whole experiance a 10/10!

We wear masks on all tours and ask that our customers do also – so we can both remain safe.

We maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres at all times, and only take private tours.

We carry alcohol spray with us at all times and regularly disinfect our hands and equipment.

Customers can opt to take their own vehicle or we disinfect our cars and stop frequently for fresh air.
